Etruscan Statues
Etruscan statues were crafted out of å and clay in contrast to the later Roman statues crafted out of stone. At this point there was no known source of marble in Etruria.
There is a real difference in the feel of statues created by the Etruscans who created warm and lively statues, with people that seemed real and personable with a sense of movement. Another major difference between Etruscan and Greek statues is the clothing. Etruscan statues were usually clothed while Greek statues were usually naked.
