Tomb of the Shields and Chairs
The Tomb of the Shields and Chairs is a famous necropolis that was constructed in the 7th century BCE/BC at the Etruscan settlement of Cerveteri in Etruria. This necropolis tomb is significant because it is a typical layout of an Etruscan wealthy tomb known as a tumulus. This tomb was carved to echo an actual Etruscan house and also shows the material remains of trade goods from the Greeks which further points to a trade network between Etruria and Greece.
